Moviegoers has been experiencing a bad case of marvel fatigue. Ever since phase 3 ended with “Avengers: Endgame” the offerings from Marvel Studios have been plentiful between films and their TV shows on Disney+, but the quality has mostly been lacking. When it was announced the third Deadpool movie would now feature huge Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine for a team up, there was a glimmer of hope and a light at the end of the tunnel. If “Deadpool & Wolverine” were to fall flat that could be the surest sign that people were going to give up on comic book movies. Have no fear because the two mutants have delivered big time and the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been saved!
Deadpool/Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) has adjusted to a life of retirement. Now working as car salesman. He is fine with this life until the Time Variance Authority comes knocking on his door. His universe is about to be wiped out thanks to the death of Wolverine that happened in the movie, “Logan”. However, now that the multiverse has been introduced, Wade finds another Wolverine. Too bad it is the “worst one.” They will have to put any differences aside if they are going to defeat a new super villain too.
